മാധവാരയിലെ ചക്കുളത്ത് ദേവി ക്ഷേത്രത്തിൽ വച്ച് 22.10.2023 ഞായറാഴ്ച അഷ്ടമി തീഥിയിൽ
കാലത്ത് 8.00 മുതൽ ലളിതാ സഹസ്രനാമ പാരായണവും ദേവീ കീർത്തന ആലാപനങ്ങളും സംഘടിപ്പിച്ചു.

ബാംഗ്ളൂർ വാരിയർ സമാജം നടത്തി വരുന്ന ഏതു പരിപാടികളേയും സദാ പിൻതുണക്കുന്ന നമ്മുടെ മുൻ അദ്ധ്യക്ഷൻ ശ്രീമാൻ എം.വി.വിജയൻ മുൻ കൈ എടുത്താണ് നമുക്ക് ഈ പാരായണം ആസൂത്രണം ചെയ്യാൻ പറ്റിയത് എന്ന് നന്ദിപൂർവ്വം ഈ അവസരത്തിൽ രേഖപ്പെടുത്തുന്നു. സമാജത്തിന്റെ മറ്റു ഭാരവാഹികളുടെ സഹകരണത്തോടെ ഈ പരിപാടി വിജയകരമായി നടത്താൻ മുന്നോട്ടിറങ്ങിയത് സമാജത്തിന്റെ ജലഹള്ളി ഭാഗത്തിന്റെ പ്രതിനിധിയായി പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്ന ശ്രീ അനിൽ കുമാർ ആയിരുന്നു എന്നും പ്രത്യേകം ഓർമ്മിക്കുന്നു.
ഇതിനു അവസരം തന്ന അമ്പലം ഭാരവാഹികൾക്കു ബാംഗ്ളൂർ വാരിയർ സമാജത്തിന്റെ നന്ദിയും ആദരവും ഇവിടെ രേഖപ്പെടുത്തുന്നു.

Navratri is one of the joyous festivals celebrated with vigour in Bangalore and this time in a first Bangalore Warrier Samajam has decided to commemorate it too. During Navratri, one evokes the energy of the divine in the form of Universal Mother commonly referred to as Devi, Durga ,Shakti etc. literally meaning overcoming our sorrows. The lessons learnt from Navratri are of strength, discipline, mindfulness and determination which are prerequisites of a happy and successful life.
As a part of these celebrations, Bangalore Warrier Samajam members conducted ‘Devi Mahatmyam Parayanam’ at the vibrant Chakkulathamma Devi temple, Madavara. We were astonished to be greeted by the beautiful peacocks and peahens and the chirping of the lovely parrots on the trees in the serene and untouched surroundings of the temple. BWS is grateful to the Chakkulathamma Devi temple authorities for their graciousness and welcome extended to us in conducting this event. That it was a grand success was evident by the enthusiasm of the temple management and the participants alike.
A special word of thanks to our BWS members M.V. Vijayan and Jalahalli incharge Anilkumar for coordinating and organizing this event so beautifully, that all of us had a great time.
This temple conducts Ayillia Pooja and Ponkala every year and is a must visit for every BWS member.
